DreamHappy Foundation’s combined efforts with XCEL Federal Credit Union this winter to collect and distribute blankets and jackets across New York and New Jersey was a tremendous success. XCEL generously appointed drop-off points at select branches in NJ and NYC. Staff members and volunteers were constantly on the move handing out donations to individual families and shelters alike.

Winter is very hard for those without homes, or the resources to heat their rooms. For those commuting to low income jobs, the jackets provided were essential. There’s nothing worse than spending ten hours at work and then an hour at the bus stop, cold. Warm hands are a luxury not everyone can afford.

“We thank XCEL Federal Credit Union for their gracious support. With their help he have had the chance to help many families through-out the Northeast.” states William Weaver, Founder of the DreamHappy foundation.

The DreamHappy Foundation will continue to do its best for the New Jersey and New York areas, collecting jackets and blankets again next year, no matter the forecast.

School supplies, including pencils, scissors, crayons, pens, paper, glue, markers, notebooks and colored pencils were presented to Casa Guadalupe Center’s Education Coordinator, Sharon Gonzalez, to be used for the Casa Guadalupe Center’s Summer School Program. These supplies were gathered as part of the DreamHappy Foundation’s Happy Packs campaign, an initiative which enables learning by ensuring that children have the school supplies they need.

Supplies were donated to the Casa Guadalupe Center Summer School Program. The program serves mostly inner-city students in grades first through tenth in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvanian. Specifically, schools which have a combined average of 50 percent or more of their students scoring in the bottom 25 percent in the state in reading and math test scores. The Casa Guadalupe Center Summer School Program is working to close the achievement gap by providing students with extra help during the summer. As education coordinator, Sharon Gonzalez put it “One day at a time, we are making a difference.” The support of the DreamHappy Foundation in providing needed supplies helps to ensure that difference is able to be made.

DreamHappy’s Founder, William Weaver states, “We are proud to be able to offer these supplies to this great cause. We thank the Lehigh Valley for making this possible along with Eliezer Vélez and Sharon Gonzalez for working with us to see this through. We are sure the children will have a rewarding time during their summer at the Casa Guadalupe Center Summer School Program”.

Lehigh Valley, PA. April 11th, 2011 – Allentown families in need will sleep warmer tonight thanks to the generous supports of the DreamHappy Foundation. DreamHappy president, William Weaver, delivered many bags containing blankets to the Sixth Street Shelter in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The blankets were gathered as part of the foundation’s Comfy Quilts campaign, a DreamHappy initiative dedicated to gathering new and gently used blankets and distributing them to families who need assistance.

William Weaver states, “We are pleased to continue helping those in need throughout the Lehigh Valley. The DreamHappy Foundation is very grateful to all of those who have donated to this campaign and aided in its continued success.”

Blankets were donated to the Sixth Street Shelter, located in Central Allentown. The Sixth Street shelter is a family shelter that helps families with children back on their feet after losing their homes. The shelter is the second Lehigh Valley charity to benefit from the Comfy Quilts campaign. The DreamHappy Foundation recently donated several blankets to the Beginning Over Foundation in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The DreamHappy Foundation, a Lehigh Valley based charity, and was founded with the goal of helping children and families in need. The foundation is able to accomplish this goal through charitable campaigns that gather needed funds and supplies, which can then be distributed. In addition to its Comfy Quilts Campaign, DreamHappy is also conducting the Happy Packs Campaign, which will bring backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need.

Lehigh Valley, PA. March 21st, 2011 — DreamHappy President, William Weaver, announces the realization of the latest winter blanket drive. Many blankets collected as part of the foundation’s Comfy Quilts campaign have been given to The Beginning Over Foundation, a Lehigh Valley non-profit supporting families of domestic abuse.

“I want to thank the generous members of the Lehigh Valley who have come together to donate to our Comfy Quilts campaign” Weaver said. “A blanket that sits in your closet year after year can seem like a small thing, but it can be an incredible gift to those in need. We are pleased to be able to share this gift with families going through a difficult transition.”

The DreamHappy Foundation was founded last year with the goal of helping children in need. The organization achieves this goal by conducting charitable campaigns aimed at assisting children and families in less fortunate circumstances. The DreamHappy Foundation works with other non-profits, such as the Beginning Over Foundation, in order to bring help and support where it is needed most. In addition to their Comfy Quilts blanket drive, the foundation is also currently conducting their Happy Packs campaign, which is a drive to gather school supplies for children in need.

DreamHappy found a perfect outlet in the Beginning Over Foundation. This local charity, which is just moving into their new space in Easton, aids families of domestic abuse in the recovery process, helping them to “begin over” in every area of their life.

William Weaver, DreamHappy’s president, is a technology entrepreneur who has established several successful companies. He founded the DreamHappy Foundation in early 2010 with three colleagues. “We wish to help create a better world through the development of campaigns which give back to the community and help those in need” states Weaver. “We want people to understand that when we all work together, even small efforts can do a great deal of good.”

The DreamHappy foundation would like to thank the Women’s Center at Lehigh University and The Office Quarters for their role as Comfy Quilt drop-off locations where residents of Lehigh Valley are able to drop off their gently used and new blankets in order to support the DreamHappy initiative.

They are spending many hours a week on this game, the proceeds of which will help us to create a better world for children.”, says the game designer and Chairman of the DreamHappy Foundation, William Weaver, “Due to team TippleTop’s hard work, dedication, and passion for gaming, the game is coming to life in only a few short months.”

Lead Software Engineer at Fun Spike Games, Ali Botorabi, states, “I am pleased with how smoothly development is going, especially with the restrictions that come with being an unfunded start-up. We are hoping that will be changing soon. Even in early development stages, the game is a great deal of fun to play and it is all for a good cause. I believe that the more fun the game turns out to be, the more proceeds will be generated for the DreamHappy Foundation, which in turn helps more children in need.”

The public is invited to watch and participate in TippleTop’s development on the Fun Spike Games development blog and forum located on their website. The developers welcome comments from the public and community to help improve the game.

We at the DreamHappy Foundation are excited to bring an art auction for the masses to enjoy. We wish to enhance our supporters’ lives through wonderful works of art, while at the same time allowing them to enrich the lives of children in need. Not only will this auction expose the artists to a massive audience, it will also help raise necessary funds for the DreamHappy Foundation so that we can continue to help children through hard times.

We are seeking artists, both traditional and digital, who would like to have their art auctioned for an admirable cause. The auction is to be held online and possibly through a live auction as well.

Each artist will be showcased on the website and press releases. This is a great chance to gain exposure through our charity while helping give children a better life in the process.
