DreamHappy’s William Weaver and Real House Project Coordinator Martyse Strychacz

DreamHappy’s team dropped off donations to Real House as part of the DreamHappy Comfy Quilts campaign. DreamHappy’s Annual winter charity drive, Comfy Quilts, collects blankets, quilts and jackets for those in need in local shelters. This year, one of the beneficiaries of the ongoing charity drive is Real House, a Women’s Shelter in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Real House offers a unique, tranquil environment for women in need of help, teaching them to better themselves and lead better lives.

The DreamHappy Foundation is glad to support the efforts of Real House!

Bring your gently used quilts, comforters, jackets and all other winter apparel items which may be useful for those in need. Items should be freshly laundered and free of stains or rip.

Ms. Dee is honored to serve on the Board of the DreamHappy Foundation. The icing on the cake?  Baker Street Yoga has is generously offering a ‘by donation’ class on Friday, February 15th at 7pm, and all proceeds will go directly to DreamHappy Foundation!  DreamHappy is volunteer run, so 100% of the donations will go towards our services.  If you cannot make the class, but would still like to support DreamHappy, any donation you make would be greatly appreciated!

Baker Street Yoga is located at 97A Baker Street, Maplewood NJ 07040. If you would like to donate items, but aren’t local to Maplewood, perhaps one of the four XCEL Federal Credit Union drop-off locations listed here will work better for you.  Or, if you are interested in hosting a drop off location, please let us know!

Winter is very hard for those without homes, or the resources to heat their rooms. For those commuting to low income jobs, the jackets provided were essential. There’s nothing worse than spending ten hours at work and then an hour at the bus stop, cold. Warm hands are a luxury not everyone can afford.

The DreamHappy Foundation will continue to do its best for the New Jersey and New York areas, collecting jackets and blankets again next year, no matter the forecast.

New Jersey Children and Families charity, the DreamHappy Foundation, has partnered with XCEL Federal Credit Union to collect new and used blankets for those in need this winter.

XCEL has graciously offered three of their branches as drop-off points to help collect blankets for DreamHappy’s annual Comfy Quilts campaign. The selected branches are:
